Established by Laurene Powell Jobs, Emerson Collective is a social change organization that uses a broad range of tools including philanthropy, impact investing, and policy solutions to create the greatest good for the greatest number of people. They challenged us to redefine their digital presence so that it better represented their mission and provided exposure to work they are involved in.

We found that the world of policy is often very cold feeling and filled with insider jargon….but Emerson isn’t inherently like that. From its philosophy to its approach it’s an initiative that’s rooted in empathy of those involved in the issues. Our solution was to create a creative platform for the site that reflected that.

Enter Policy Humanized. a platform where—through objective, poignant storytelling—our users can not only have access to the issues but get to the real heart…Ultimately inspiring them to take action and to get involved.
